Teagasc to put best foot forward

TEAGASC will run a nationwide series of forest walks next week, aimed at owners with plantations at or near the first thinning stage.

The September 1-4 walks will provide an opportunity for owners to get expert information on a wide range of issues. These include inspection path layout, access provision, timber crop assessment, markets thinning economics and how to get the job done. All events start at 6.30pm.
