Pig prices unchanged here, better across EU

PIG prices are unchanged this week, ranging from €1.24 to €1.28 at most plants, with a 6c/kg welfare bonus.

According to IFA, at most export plants, there is a flat rate €124 to €128 cent/kg net. Welfare pigs average €1.30 to €1.35/kg.

Demand is improving this week from pork slaughterers, but prices are unchanged, from 128 to 130 cent/kg.
