Bord Bia launches major lamb promotion

BORD BIA has launched an intensive eight-week campaign in Ireland to promote the availability and versatility of new season lamb.

Agriculture and Food Minister Mary Coughlan, who launched the campaign in Ballyshannon, Co Donegal, said producers supply a very high quality product.

They need to be rewarded with good prices to ensure that production continues, she said, noting that the market has been very difficult to date this year.
