Minister addresses CAP concerns

This could be a crucial week for the future of Irish agriculture, Minister Joe Walsh said in Dublin yesterday.

He was speaking ahead of tomorrow’s meeting of EU farm ministers and what promise to be lengthy discussions on the CAP mid-term review proposals.

Mr Walsh said the Greek presidency and the European Commission will be pressing for a decision which could change EU policy on agriculture.
