Farmers in dark over entitlements

About 10,000 farmers have yet to be informed of their provisional entitlements under the single payment scheme.

This was revealed by Agriculture and Food Minister Mary Coughlan in a written reply to a Dáil question by Fine Gael spokesperson Denis Naughten, TD.

She said those that have yet to receive notification of their provisional entitlements include applicants under the force majeure, new entrants, inheritance and other categories.
