Store lambs make up to €29 over in the marts

THERE was very little change in lamb prices at factories on Monday, but there was some downward revision for Tuesday’s kill.
Store lambs make up to €29 over in the marts

Base prices ranged from 347 back to 336 cent/kg (124p to 120p/lb) on Tuesday, cut 6 or 9 cent/kg (2p or 3p/lb) at some factories from the Monday prices.

In the marts, prices were largely unchanged Monday for butcher’s lambs. Factory lambs made up to €2 per head more, with good numbers on offer in a firm trade.
