Quality assurance label for pigmeat

Ireland: Bord Bia’s new quality assurance label, incorporating country of origin details for pork and bacon products in retail outlets throughout the country, was launched yesterday by Agriculture Minister Mary Coughlan.

To support the launch, an advertising campaign has been devised by Bord Bia to ensure that consumers are aware of the label’s relevance.

The promotion is being supported by the pigmeat industry and will feature television and outdoor advertising as well as in store merchandising.
