EU citizens value the quality of food

EU: The quality of food products is an important issue for European Union citizens, especially in northern countries, according to a new survey.

It reveals that people want quality food products to have a good, natural taste, look appetising, and be produced under strict, hygienic conditions.

The special Eurobarometer survey found that EU citizens would apparently be ready to pay more to have higher quality meat and vegetables.
