Roborock, a global leader in intelligent home robotics, unveiled five cutting-edge products at the IFA 2024, marking the company's 10th anniversary. This significant milestone highlights Roborock’s journey from a startup to a key player in smart home technology. The new lineup includes robotic vacuums, cordless vacuums, and even a washer-dryer equipped with groundbreaking technologies. These products promise to make home cleaning smarter, more efficient, and user-friendly.

The highlight of Roborock’s new launch is undoubtedly its range of smart robotic vacuums, with the Roborock Qrevo Curv and Roborock Qrevo Edge leading the charge. Both models showcase the brand’s new Dual Anti-Tangle System, designed to eliminate one of the most common annoyances of automated vacuums — hair tangling in the brushes. Combined with the AdaptiLift Chassis, which automatically adjusts the vacuum’s height based on floor type, these robots promise a seamless cleaning experience across different surfaces, including tricky areas like carpets and double-layer thresholds.

Roborock’s promise of innovation is backed by solid engineering. The Qrevo Curv and Qrevo Edge have 18,500Pa HyperForce Suction, which can tackle even the most stubborn dirt. But what truly sets them apart is their capability to reach those pesky edges thanks to FlexiArm technology, which extends the vacuum’s reach, especially useful for corners.
Both models come with an upgraded Multifunctional Dock 3.0, which includes a hot mop washing feature that eliminates 99.99% of bacteria, emphasising cleanliness and hygiene.
As impressive as the new features sound, these advancements show just how competitive the smart home cleaning industry has become. Roborock isn’t just launching incremental updates but positioning itself as a company that anticipates users’ needs, integrating real-life pain points like tangled hair and unclean edges into smart solutions.

The Roborock Qrevo Slim might be a perfect fit if space-saving designs are more your style. As the slimmest robotic vacuum with 3D Time of Flight (ToF) navigation, it offers a sleeker profile (8.2cm in height) without compromising performance. It should be ideal for homes with low-clearance furniture. Moreover, the Qrevo Slim boasts dual-light 3D ToF sensors, allowing for exceptional navigation precision and obstacle avoidance.
The vacuum doesn’t just clean; it creates a high-resolution map of your home using over 21,600 sensor points. It can identify and react to up to 73 types of obstacles, from cables to pets, offering a genuinely hands-free cleaning experience. This is a significant step forward, not just in terms of design but also in ensuring a smarter, more intuitive cleaning system.

Roborock’s new offerings also extend beyond just vacuums. The Roborock H5 cordless vacuum brings powerful suction (158AW) and advanced filtration into a lightweight 1.82kg package. Its nine-cyclone dust separation technology ensures top-tier cleanliness, which is particularly useful for those sensitive to allergens. While many cordless vacuums excel in suction, Roborock says its edge lies in its combination of power and portability, which makes heavy-duty cleaning easy without the bulk of traditional vacuums.

However, the most revolutionary addition to the lineup might be the Roborock Zeo Lite, a smart washer-dryer featuring Zeo-cycle technology. This innovation utilises zeolite’s water vapour absorption properties to dry clothes at moderate temperatures, protecting delicate fabrics without extreme heat. Roborock claims this will be a game-changer for those who want efficiency without sacrificing garment care. Capable of handling up to 10kg of laundry for washing and 6kg for drying, the Zeo Lite offers a complete wash-and-dry cycle in under an hour — faster than many traditional laundry machines.
Roborock’s entry into laundry solutions highlights the company’s intent to diversify and solidify its comprehensive smart home brand presence. With a competitive price point of €999 in Europe, the Zeo Lite is poised to attract users looking for convenience, speed, and fabric care.
Roborock’s new product lineup clearly signals that the company is no longer focused on vacuuming but is expanding into comprehensive smart home solutions. The innovations, especially in navigation and fabric care, set a new benchmark for what we can expect from automated cleaning devices. Industry-first features like the Dual Anti-Tangle System and Zeo-cycle technology are impressive on paper and could significantly enhance day-to-day living.
That said, Roborock’s growing dominance in the smart cleaning space is likely to prompt competitors to rethink their strategies. The real challenge will be ensuring that all this technology remains user-friendly and accessible, as complexity can sometimes intimidate average users. But if Roborock can maintain its balance between cutting-edge innovation and simplicity, it’s set to remain a significant player in smart home tech for years to come.
Roborock’s Qrevo Curv will retail for €1,499.99, and pre-orders will start on September 9th. Meanwhile, the Roborock Qrevo Slim and Zeo Lite are priced at €1299.99 and €999, respectively.
