Organisations urgently need to review the management of their systems as a worrying number of former employees retain access to the data of their prior employers.

Research by Cork-based HCS has found that a fifth of office workers in Ireland have access to the company data of a previous employer. The survey by HCS, an IT, cybersecurity, and digital transformation services company, also found that 48% of these workers use that previous employer’s data to help them in their current job.
