The Lofree Dot Series Liquid ‘Foundation’ is a stylishly funky keyboard with a fresh approach for those who want more than just a functional keyboard. This makes the Dot compatible with a vast range of devices. You can toggle between three different paired Bluetooth devices by pressing fn and 1, 2, or 3, and 4 is for the 2.4GHz mode. I also love the built-in slider that can switch between Mac and PC keyboard layouts.
You'll never have to worry about charging if you connect the Dot to your device via the included colour-matched USB-C cable. However, it has a high-capacity 4,000mAh battery that delivers extended usage of up to six to eight weeks on a single charge.
The Dot ‘Foundation’ offers a customisable typing experience with its single-colour backlight and seven pre-installed lighting effects. You don’t need software to configure the lights; press the Fn and arrow keys to toggle through the different effects.
Full-key hot-swappable keycaps are a nice addition for those who want complete flexibility and customizability.
The keyboard features a gasket internal structure for enhanced comfort and fast typing feedback. Specially engineered Gateron Baby Racoon mechanical switches offer a smooth typing experience with a light 40g trigger force, ensuring both comfort and elegance. I had no problem quickly getting used to the Dot for fast typing, and as mechanical keyboards go, they're not too noisy.
