In a move aimed at providing stability and transparency in the mobile services sector, Tesco Mobile Ireland has unveiled its "Frozen Contracts" initiative for customers signing up in 2024. Under this program, all Bill Pay plans initiated in 2024 will be exempt from Consumer Price Index (CPI) increases, ensuring that monthly charges remain fixed for the 24-month contract period. Existing customers will also benefit from this price freeze, safeguarding them against unexpected bill hikes.

The firm said the decision comes amidst growing consumer concerns regarding fluctuating mobile phone bills. By offering Frozen Contracts, Tesco Mobile aims to provide customers with assurance and predictability regarding their monthly expenses. This commitment aligns with Tesco Mobile's ethos of prioritizing customer satisfaction and fairness in its service offerings.
