Huawei unveils world’s first flagship 5G SoC that will power Huawei Mate 30 Series

Amidst the backdrop of a trade war between the US and China, Chinese company Huawei are admirable defiant in their quest to become the number one mobile phone manufacturer in the world. Despite the fact that Google are currently not able to provide Huawei with new licenses for their Google software and services which include, Maps, and more crucially, the Google PlayStore, Huawei still plan on launching a new flagship smartphone the Mate 30 Pro on September 19, 2019.
Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG), delivered a keynote speech titled "Rethink Evolution" at the IFA, and unveiled the latest flagship Kirin 990 series: Kirin 990 and its 5G version. This is a key component that will power the upcoming Mate 30 Pro.
