Minecraft lovers: MineVention is back

MineVention, the unofficial convention for Minecraft lovers is back soon.

The convention will be held in Meath, Cork and Galway and boasts an afternoon of meet and greet with Minecrafters favourite YouTube stars.

Galway mother-of-three Lisa O’Brien created MineVention when she spotted a gap in the market.

It has proved enormously popular in the past.

Feedback has been positive from parents with many children claiming it was the best day of their lives.

“We attended MineVention in Galway on Saturday with my 2 boys and I would like to thank all involved as it was a truly brilliant event. They had an amazing day getting to meet the You tubers. Each and every one of them were brilliant with all the kids and made each and every one of them feel special.

“My 2 were the Irish Dancers with Netty Plays and it’s something they will never forget. To quote both of them “it was the best day of their lives”. Eoghan – TheEpicMinecrafter and Cían – the irishlad366. There was an added bonus then when Eoghan was a winner in the Golden Ticket comp. Thanks again to all involved and hope everyone had as good a day as we had on Sunday.”
