Sony's Platinum Wireless PS4 Headset Due In January

Sony has announced that its platinum wireless PS4 headset will come out on January 17th 2017.

The headset has a set of 50mm drivers and includes 7.1 virtual surround-sound fuelled by PlayStation's proprietary 3D audio tech.

The 3D tech came from the playstations VR where the sound you can hear is determined by where you are in the environment, given that sounds move as you do.
