VIDEO New Star Wars Rogue One trailer gives us chills

A new Star Wars movie is always something to get excited about but Rogue One is something truly special - because it's different.

In one form or another we've been watching the same set of characters, or the same family and broad events, taking place in this galaxy far, far away since 1977. It's all one long interconnected story, and in the case of the prequel trilogy a tiresome exercise in connecting dots because a man with a beard thought it was a good idea.

Rogue One finally lets us spend time with an entirely new set of characters, and we don't even know ahead of time whether they live or die. It really is the biggest thing to happen to the series since 1983!

The latest trailer just brings out even more chills. It's going to be epic.

Star Wars Rogue One is out in Ireland on the 15th of December, 2016.
