Samsung Galaxy Note 7 might still be a fire hazard

Samsung recalled their entire Galaxy Note 7 product line over the last few weeks, with more than 2 million units in place at a cost of over a billion dollars. But the story might not be over yet.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 might still be a fire hazard

Reports this week are suggesting that a Note 7 handset went on fire during an American flight, and the word is that this was one of the newer replacement devices. If that ends up being true, Samsung could be forced to issue a second recall.

The flight was departing from Louisville, Kentucky on Wednesday when a smartphone was seen to be smoking while in the pocket of a passenger, according to Bloomberg. No one was hurt and the phone is currently with the Arson squad who are attempting to determine if it is indeed one of the newer models.
