Resident Evil 7 won't feature microtransactions

Capcom has moved to ease fan fears that Resident Evil 7 will feature microtransactions.

The publisher informed VideoGamer that while there will be pre-order bonuses and DLC available, Resident Evil 7 will not include any microtransactions.

Resident Evil 7’s pre-order bonuses, which include Survival Packs to help players survive the mansion as well as a mysterious coin, led some people to believe that Capcom was trying to sneak microtransactions into the finished game. But this isn’t the case, according to Capcom.

Resident Evil 7 will be released on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on January 24, 2017.
