Microsoft to patch Surface Pro 3's battery issue

Microsoft is to issue a Surface Pro 3 update, which should hopefully solve the battery woes experienced by some users.

The company says that a patch has been developed and it should be released soon. A Microsoft moderator took to Answers.com to thank people for their patience and revealed that the update is now in testing.

They wrote, "We'll publish the update as soon as it has passed our quality assurance process. For now, you should not consider replacing your device as an update is pending."
