iPhone 7 could have limited stock at launch

Apple usually releases its latest flagship handsets in September and the rumour is that we're going to be getting the first official glimpse at the iPhone 7 on the 16th of September, but things are still curiously quiet from the Apple camp.

Now more reports are coming in that there are production issues effecting the final stages of the iPhone 7 assembly line. These problems could result in a limited supply of handsets at launch. That's a pretty big deal with Apple always getting huge numbers of customers in the opening days.

Normally Apple sends out invites to its events a week or so before they take place, so we should expecting them to arrive at some time this week. As for what it's going to be called while the iPhone 7 name has been mooted for a long time, there is also a suggestion that it might come with the title of the iPhon 6SE.
