Jay and Silent Bob could be getting a video game

Kevin Smith's Jay and Silent Bob movies have become cult classics and the iconic characters may soon get their own video game. But it'll be dependant on fans to make it happen.
Jay and Silent Bob could be getting a video game

A crowdfunding campaign for Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch launched on Fig with a goal of $400,000. The game is described as a co-op side-scrolling brawler with players taking control of Jay or Silent Bob on a quest to find out what happened to a mall's missing customers. As well as a variety of melee attacks, players will also be able to utilise a "conversation combat system" called the Convo Combo mode, which has the characters throwing out "Yo' Mama-like insults."

Interabang Entertainment is taking on the development of Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch. Founder Justin Woodward said that Smith's movies have inspired the team since it started, so they're very excited to be working on a game.
