VIDEO: Super Mario Kart with 101 players is pure chaos

Super Mario Kart can be bad enough for the AI picking on players when there's only a handful of them. Imagine racing against 100 of them!

YouTube animator Hat-Loving Gamer did just that, pitting Toad against 100 characters from the Mario universe and beyond. The full cast is listed in the video's description, but it's a fun game to try to spot and identify them all.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to gather 100 of your friends for the ultimate Mario Kart showdown, but an incredible amount of work went into the animated video, which looks like an emulated or hacked version of the game. And the ending is just what you'd expect to happen! Those blue shells still haunt us...
