Star Wars Episode VIII won't be arriving until the end of 2017 now, but there's still plenty of intergalactic battles to go around. And you can relive some of the nastier moments in 8-bit form with these gorgeous animations.

Be warned though, some of these might be considered as spoilers as at least one happens in The Force Awakens. But if you haven't seen that film yet where the heck have you been?!
