The Stanley Parable's designer has a game out now

Indie games are pretty strange in terms of their release strategies - without the need to make billions on their opening weekend they can pretty much release whenever with next to no hype.

The Stanley Parable's designer has a game out now

Case in point, the new game from William Pugh is out today. Yes, it's just here, available on Steam from the 4th of December.

Pugh is best known as co-designer of The Stanley Parable - a wonderfully weird walking simulator thing which came out in 2013. It was invested with a totally strange sense of humour and a looping narrative which was at once a great game and a satire of videogaming at a whole. It's pretty great, you should check it out.

Pugh is a Source engine specialist and has been working on his own original game with a new company called Crows Crows Crows. And that title seems to be here. There's no name for the game and all we've heard is that it's 'a strange and whirlwind sort of heist game'. Also it will probably only take you about 20 minutes to finish, which is good to know going in.

You can find out exactly when its on sale (5PM GMT) with this countdown timer. Then it will suddenly appear on Steam, for some kind of sum of money.
