Android users can now enjoy Apple Music

Apple Music is now available from the Google Play store, giving Android smartphone and tablet owners access to most of the iOS app’s features.
Android users can now enjoy Apple Music

Android users will be able to access Beats 1 radio, Connect, custom music suggestions and access any music you've bought through iTunes with your Apple ID.

There are a couple of omissions. Android users won’t be able to watch music videos just yet and can’t sign up to family plan subscriptions. The app’s official blurb notes that this is an open beta release and that music videos are coming. Also to be added is an optimised sign-up process for Android.

The app, as you might expect, looks quite similar to its iOS counterpart, though it has been tweaked for Android.

This is the first time that Apple has played nice on Android. Its previous Android app was titled Move to iOS and was designed to make it easier for Android users to make the leap to a new OS.
