Pinterest addicts can now buy products directly

If you’re a Pinterest user, you probably already spend hours browsing and pinning items. Buyable pins are now coming to Android, letting you buy products you like in just a couple of clicks.

The feature, which is great news from a convenience point of view, but potentially disastrous news for our bank balances, has been available on iOS since early this summer.

Beside the distinctive red “Pin It” button, you’ll see a price in blue text in the corner of a post, which indicates that the item can be bought. Click the post, tap "Buy It", enter your info (the first time you make a purchase), and you’ll be the proud owner of that item that caught your eye.
