The iPad Pro is here and it's looking gorgeous
It's a 12.9 inch tablet, making it the biggest iOS device yet to come from the tech giants. That screen size means a big resolution as well - of 2732 x 2048 to be exact. Apple folks claim that the bigger size means the onscreen keyboard is full size, to making typing all the easier. There are also four front mounted speakers for the first time, maybe we'll finally get a tablet with good sound.
It's light and slim at 6.9mm, which should come as no surprise to anyone who has held an iPad recently. The battery is said to last for 10 hours, and Apple usually holds good on these claims, and there's a camera front and back.
So far, so expected and we've had some many leaks about the Pro that there's little enough to get really excited about until you consider the accessories. Apple has its first stylus in the Apple Pencil. Because they want it to sound like they invented the writing implement. It's a pressure sensitive device for doodling enthusiasts and those who like to get a little productivity out of their fake pencil pushing.
There's also a Smart Keyboard which instantly connects to the iPad Pro via a new connector and acts as both a cover and an input device. It looks nice, it is an Apple product afterall, and makes the tablet appeal more to the business user which it is clearly aimed at.
