Borderlands latest for Xbox One backwards compatibility
If you’ve missed playing the original Borderlands or never gave it a whirl in the first place you’ll soon get a chance as it’s coming to the Xbox One. But this isn’t an upscaled re-release, but rather part of the upcoming backwards compatability range.
This new feature will make older games playable on Microsoft’s new-gen hardware, essentially emulating the old console to let you play your games. It’s likely you’ll need the original disk to prove you owned the title and in the case of Borderlands you’ll be able to carry over your saved game and any DLC you’ve downloaded. Which is pretty impressive for a game which came out in 2009.
