New Apple TV could be really pricey

It's no secret that a new Apple TV box is in the works and will debut in an announcement from Apple in September but we're still waiting on the details of what it will really do.

Rumours are suggesting that it will bring some major changes to the abilities of the set top box - bumping up the hardware specs to allow it to handle games and potentially including a remote with motion controls. We've also heard that you'll be able to use Siri and access the full app store, which would be quite the update.

And that's likely to come with a price, with some sites suggesting the new Apple TV could debut for as much as €199. That's certainly not Apple's most expensive product, not even close, but it's more than twice the cost of the current version of the box, priced at €79.
