Huawei's P8 deemed the 'best consumer smartphone' by EISA

The annual European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) awards have taken place and the Huawei P8 has been voted as the best consumer smartphone.

It was bestowed with this honour by editors of participating publications from across the globe.

The EISA website highlights the P8’s high-end craftsmanship that gives it a “truly sophisticated appearance,” as well as its internal specs.

The Huawei P8 features a 5.2-inch Full HD display, a 2GHz octa-core Kirin 930 processor and 3GB RAM.

There’s also a 13 megapixel camera on the rear and an 8 megapixel snapper for selfies. The EISA stated that “when it comes to the all-important price-to-performance ratio, the Huawei P8 simply can’t be beat.”

Other smartphones honoured through the awards were the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge (Advanced Smartphone), the Sony Xperia Z3+ (Multimedia Smartphone), and the LG G4 (Smartphone Camera).
