More OnePlus 2 rumours - when will we see the phone!?

The OnePlus 2 rumours continue to stack up as we're hearing more and more about potential specs, but we need to know for sure!

The OnePlus One smartphone was a clever way to get noticed, with top specs and very limited numbers of handset which could only initially be purchased once you recieved an invite from someone else who had the phone. Nowadays you can just buy one on the official site but the reviews have been consistently strong, which makes people all the more excited for the sequel.

The OnePlus 2 will finally be officially announced on the 27th of July 2015 but that just means all the more time for rumours. The latest suggests that the handset could contain an absolutely massive 4 gigs of RAM. There's also a suggestion that the front-facing camera could get a bump to 8 megapixels and the rear shooter could have two lenses - a set up which was previously used on the HTC One M8 to take photos which could be refocussed afterwards.

The new phone could also sport a stainless steel rim - which would add to the good looks of the original handset. It's also understood that three different models were submitted for Bluetooth approval. It's not known what separates them but it could be different storage sizes or different internal setups for unique regions.

We just don't know what to believe right now, especially with the amount of speculation which is circulating. One thing seems clear - there's a real appetite for information about the phone, likely because customers are clamouring for a handset option which offers great specs at a competitive price, and the OnePlus 2 could satisfy that itch.
