Android M looks set to push voice commands further than ever. Not only will you be able to issue commands, but apps may be able to respond and ask for more guidance.

Android M will let you chat with apps

With the Voice Interaction API, Google is giving app developers the ability to build voice control natively into their apps. This would let users speak directly to the app to use it.

Google shared an example of how it will work. A user could say, “OK Google, listen to music on TuneIn.” Not only will the TuneIn app open, but it will then ask aloud, “What genre of music would you like to listen to?" And the user can then respond with a genre.
