That’s according to iOS 9’s code, at least. Developer Hamza Hood found coding that supports substantial updates to the FaceTime camera, including front-facing flash support, selfie panoramas, and 1080p video.

The camera has been a point of competition for smartphone manufacturers for some time now. After one-upping each other for quite a while on the rear-facing camera, they then turned their attention to the front-facing one. And Apple is finally getting in on the action, it seems.
