Watch this fantastic Mad Max-Mario Kart mash-up

Mad Max: Fury Road has only been in cinemas for just over a week, but it’s struck a chord with audiences. So much so that many creative people have turned their attention to creating memes and mash-ups.

This Mario Kart-Mad Max mash-up, titled Mario Kart: Fury Road, is right up there as one of the best we’ve seen. We’d advise watching the film first; the mash-up doesn’t spoil anything really, but you should get the full Mad Max experience first.Mario Kart: Fury Road has it all. A blue shell takes out the lead car of the convoy, bob-ombs are used to good effect, a chain chomp rips through vehicles, and there’s even a scene on Rainbow Road. Then there are the sound effects, which are used to great effect.There is a Mad Max video game scheduled for release in September. We can only hope that it takes inspiration from this mash-up.Mad Max is currently in cinemas and it’s a great slice of action entertainment.
