Microsoft will launch Windows 10 in the coming months with a number of variants to be released.

The editions announced include Windows 10 Home, Mobile, Pro, Enterprise, Mobile Enterprise, and Education. These six editions will be released in around 190 countries in 111 languages.Windows 10 Home is geared towards the everyday user and will be found on most desktop PCs, laptops and 2-in-1s. It will support Microsoft’s digital assistant Cortana, Windows Edge web browser as well as Windows Hello face recognition, iris scanner and fingerprint login for various Windows apps.Business users will lean more towards Pro or Enterprise depending on the size and needs of their business. Windows 10 Pro Edition includes features like device management, security features, and cloud features ideal for smaller businesses.Enterprise adds more security features, and includes a broad range of options for operating system deployment and comprehensive device and app management.As you’d expect, Windows 10 Mobile will be used on mobile phones, tablets and other touch-centric devices. It will support Windows Universal apps and a touch-optimised version of Office. Microsoft will also release Windows 10 Mobile Enterprise, which will pack the latest security and innovation features on the mobile devices.Finally, Windows 10 Education is designed for use in schools among staff, administrators, teachers and students. It will be available through academic Volume Licensing.Windows 10 is currently available via the Windows Insider Program. The finalised version is expected to arrive in the next couple of months.
