These indoor football players wanted to have a normal game but instead got hooked up to virtual reality headsets and looked like eejits

It's looking like virtual reality will revolutionise the way we play all kinds of video games with immersive graphics and sound and a real sense of presence but - at least right now - virtual reality and actual reality shouldn't mix when it comes to football. This indoor football match looks pretty normal, except the players are all wearing virtual reality headset which is beaming them a video feed of the pitch from a bird's eye view. With no visual information on the ground, they have to use this far away image to try to figure out where their feet go. It does not make for good football but we were laughing at the flailing the whole way through!
