The iPad Pro is expected to feature an NFC radio. It’s unlikely that it will include tap-to-pay functionality, but it could serve as a payment receiving terminal for Apple Pay.The inclusion of NFC would also allow for simplified pairing with accessories. This is particularly noteworthy because it’s being reported that a new Bluetooth stylus is in the works.AppleInsider’s sources say that Apple is planning to bring its Force Touch input to the larger iPad. Its screen will sense pressure from fingertips like the Apple Watch and latest MacBooks. Apparently, the stylus will also feature pressure-sensitive input. The next generation iPad is also tipped to feature a new A-series processor. The iPad Air 2 features an A8X processor, a beefed up version of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus’ A8 chip. The timetable of release for the iPad Pro is currently unknown.
