Gotham is burning in new Batman: Arkham Knight trailer

Batman: Arkham Knight’s trailer not only lays the foundation for what should be a dark and gritty story, but also reveals some intriguing gameplay features.

Players will be able to team up with allies in tag-team combat. This “dual play” mechanic lets players “switch seamlessly" between Batman and his allies, including Robin, Nightwing and Catwoman in "free-flow combat".The trailer also confirms the presence of the mysterious assassin Azrael. Unfortunately, we don’t know to what extent he will feature in Arkham Knight.Batman: Arkham Knight marks the end of the trilogy. Game director Sefton Hill said that it will see every villain in Gotham working together to destroy Batman. Naturally, Hill says, this means that it will take the story to some dark places. The end result is that Arkham Knight is the first in the franchise to get a Mature rating.Batman: Arkham Knight will be released on June 23rd, 2015.
