Project Cars gets final concrete release date
The racing game was originally due out last November before it was pushed back to March, then April, and finally some unspecified date in May. The studio today confirmed that May 8th is the day that racers will finally be able to start their engines in earnest.Project Cars is certainly a beautiful looking game. Console players will be able to tweak graphics settings, as PC players are usually able to. Elements like bloom, crepuscular rays and screen-space effects (rain/dirt) will be customisable at long last on console. Typically, these settings have an impact on how a game runs on PC, so it will be interesting to see how they take their toll on consoles.Watch the trailer below to get yourself ready for some wheel-to-wheel racing action. Project Cars will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on May 8th.
