Tinder adding Instagram connectivity

Tinder is rolling out an update, which should help users discover more about their potential matches.

Tinder adding Instagram connectivity

The popular match-making app is teaming up with Instagram to showcase the 34 most recent pictures on a potential match’s Instagram account. Don’t worry, you have to link the two accounts and, if your account is private, you can make pictures visible on Tinder. It will also be possible to see a complete list of a match’s interests on Facebook. These tweaks should allow users to find out more about potential matches instead of using Tinder as a Hot-or-Not app.Apparently, the app is also going to get more connected. Up to now, Tinder has displayed if you and a match have mutual Facebook friends (first degree). Tinder will soon, according to Techspot, show you if a friend of yours is also a friend of a match’s friend (second degree).President and co-founder of Tinder, Sean Rad, says that this is the first of many improvements coming to the app. These additions should give users more ways to start a conversation. In Short: Tinder is rolling out a range of improvements that will let users see more about potential matches and give them more ways to start a conversation.
