With iOS 8.3 now available to the public, Apple has made the first iOS 8.4 beta available to developers.

The beta includes Apple’s upcoming revamped Music app. This, as the release notes point out, has been given a complete overhaul. The most immediately obvious change is its design. Apple maintains that the new design makes it easier and more fun to browse your collection. You can personalise their playlists by adding your own image and description.The new Music app will include a smoother-working iTunes Radio. You can browse your favourite stations by selecting Recently Played; can find a variety of curated stations in Featured Stations; or start a new station from one of your favourite artists or songs.You will be able to see what’s being playing and control playback while browsing your music collection thanks to the new and improved MiniPlayer. Now Playing can be found by tapping on the MiniPlayer. And this lets you start wirelessly streaming your music using AirPlay without leaving Now Playing.Finally, the Music app includes a Global Search feature. Search results are conveniently organised, so you can find the perfect song quickly and easily.iOS 8.4 is expected to enter a public beta this summer with a widespread release in the fall.In Short: iOS 8.4 is now available to developers, but it also gives us some insight into what the new operating system can offer and the new and improved Music app.
