The 2015 Oscars may not have had the most electrifying host (sorry NPH) but they did have many well-deserved wins and a number of really heartfelt speeches and important messages.

Patricia Arquette was absolutely the right choice for the winner of the Best Supporting Actress gong for her role in Boyhood and she had plenty of people she wanted to thank in a speech lasting less than 90 seconds. And she made time towards the end to point out an issue that's close to her heart.
