€4.5m Maynooth tech centre formed

A MULTI-MILLION euro Institute of Microelectronics and Wireless Systems has been launched by National University of Ireland, Maynooth.

€4.5m Maynooth tech centre formed

The work of the Institute will be to undertake world-class research and assist the wireless and microelectronics sectors, which now employ over 50,000 people in a range of companies, like Intel.

The new Institute is funded with €4.5 million in grants from Science Foundation Ireland and Enterprise Ireland over the next four years.
