Construction sector sees sharp rise in new business with hike in employment activity

Ireland's construction industry recorded its first rise in total activity in three months in March.
The sector ended the opening quarter of 2025 on a positive note with a sharp rise in new business, helping lead to a renewed expansion of activity with increases in employment and purchasing activity.Â
