Irish inflation eases to 1.8% in February

The divisions with the largest increases in the 12 months were alcohol and tobacco, up 3.7%, and restaurants and hotels, which grew by 3.1%

Irish inflation rose by 1.8% in February, down from an annual rise of 1.9% in the previous month.

New figures released by the Central Statistics Office (CSO) on Thursday show that excluding energy and unprocessed food, Irish inflation grew by 2.2% in the 12 months of February 2025.
