The Government must prioristise investment in infrastucture and introduce ‘structural reforms’ to reduce the costs of delivery to maintain Ireland’s economic stability, the governor of the Central Bank has said.

Governor Gabriel Makhlouf made his comments in a speech at the Institute of International and European Affairs in Dublin on Thursday. Mr Makhlouf said he had also expressed his opinions in a letter to Finance Minister Paschal Donohue earlier this month.
