All Together Now Music Festival 2024 at the Curraghmore Estate in Co. Waterford which took place on the August bank holiday weekend.

The busy festival season and bank holiday weekend did little to incentivise spending, with the value of card transactions in August declining by 1.12%, new figures from the Central Bank of Ireland reveal.

Monthly card payment statistics released by the regulator showed that the value of transactions fell to €8.82bn in August, down from the €8.92bn recorded in the previous month.
