Services sector records solid growth in August but outlook moderates

The services sector recorded a PMI reading of 53.8, indicating growth during August. 

Service companies experienced solid growth during August, with all four sub-sectors registering higher activity for the first time in months, the latest AIB Purchasing Managers Index shows.

However, while the services sector has reported growth, business outlook moderated, with expectations hitting a 21-month low.
