Political parties have been urged to "shake off" all complacency regarding Ireland's economic success, with business lobby group Ibec identifying it as a "significant risk" ahead of the upcoming election.

Launching its General Election Manifesto on Tuesday, the business group said Ireland's current economic strength offers a "generational opportunity" for the next government.
