Inflation rises in eurozone, complicating European Central Bank’s next move

Inflation in the 20 countries that use the euro has risen to 2.6% in July, figures show.

This is above the European Central Bank’s (ECB) target and is complicating its next decision on whether to cut interest rates and boost growth as the economy struggles to stage a convincing recovery after more than a year of stagnation.
